Zone Championships
|
|
The Colonies Zone holds three annual pool championship meets and beginning recently, up to three
championships in open water venues during summers. The short course yards meet is held in April-May, short
course meters at the end of the year, and long course meters near the end of summer.
Local clubs or LMSCs can bid to host one of the championship swims by completing and submitting a written bid.
The bids are reviewed and awarded during the September zone meeting at the USMS convention, or as needed
throughout the year to find an available host.
